Servo-Mechanical Presses

What are a few types of Servo-Mechanical press equipment from STAMTEC?

  • SDS Series Servo Driven Press
Stamtec’s servo motor drive technology replaces the conventional electric motor, flywheel, clutch, and brake with a high-torque, low-rpm servo motor. Proprietary press controls, engineered specifically for servo presses, deliver full working energy even at low speeds while enabling a wide variety of stroke lengths and highly customizable slide movement profiles.
This advanced system allows operators to perform a broad range of jobs — including blanking, drawing, coining, warm-forming, and pulse forming — all in a single press. The presses are also easily adapted for automation and feed applications. In addition, users can create fully custom cycle curves by defining slide positions, speeds, and pause durations across up to twenty individual segments per cycle.
  • iS2 Series Direct Drive Servo Press
Like all Stamtec servo presses, the iS2 Series is equipped with the most advanced servo motor technology and controls. This delivers virtually unlimited flexibility in stroke lengths and slide movement profiles while providing full working energy even at slow speeds and during dwells.
  • iS1 Series Servo Driven Press
Stamtec’s Servo Motor Drive Technology replaces the conventional electric motor, flywheel, and clutch/brake system with a high-torque, low-rpm servo motor. Proprietary servo press controls, engineered specifically for these presses, deliver exceptional flexibility — supporting a wide range of stroke lengths and highly customizable slide movement profiles while still providing full working energy capacity even at low speeds. This advanced capability enables operators to perform a broad variety of forming operations (such as drawing, re-striking, and warm forming) in a single press and allows seamless integration with automation and feed systems. In addition, users can program fully customizable motion curves with up to 20 distinct segments per cycle, each defined by precise slide position, speed, and pause duration parameters.
